Let Us Know How We Are Doing!
Commendations:
There is no greater form of recognition for a Communications Officer or Cherokee County E 9-1-1 employee than to receive a compliment from someone whose life they have touched and made better. As means of maintaining both Cherokee County E 9-1-1 performance and community relations, the agency:

Encourages citizen recommendations for improvements in our service delivery

Welcomes the commendations of agency personnel who admirably perform their duties

Encourages commendations and/or questions about the Agency's performance or the actions of its employees.
Commendations may consist of any form of recognition from a citizen's letter to an award. Letters should describe the events or incident along with the operator's name(s) and/or identification number. In all cases, especially letters of appreciation, the employee, their immediate Supervisor, and the Communications Director will be made aware of outstanding performance. A copy of the letter is placed in the employee's personnel file


Procedures For Submitting A Commendation:
If you wish to commend a Cherokee County E 9-1-1 employee, you may register your commendation in one of the following ways:

At any time you may contact the Cherokee County E 9-1-1 center at 678-493-4080. Request to speak with the on-duty 911 Supervisor and they will take the appropriate action. You can also request a community survey be sent to you so you may rate our agency's quality of service.

If you choose, you may also make your commendation in writing. Written correspondence should be addressed to:

Complaints:
We intend to investigate all complaints regarding our performance while ensuring confidentiality for both the complainant and the subject of the complaint.
As a means of maintaining both Cherokee County E 9-1-1 agency performance and community relations, our agency:

Encourages citizens to recommend improvements in our service delivery.

Encourages complaints and/or questions about the Agency's performance or the actions of its employees.

If you feel that an employee has acted improperly, you may register your complaint in the following ways described below.
Procedures For Submitting A Complaint:
Fill out the comments page via the survey link just below with as much information as possible. Letters of complaint should describe the event or incident, date and time of occurrence, if possible, and the name and/or identification number of the operator involved. All complaints will be investigated and the complainant will be notified of the findings within 5 business days from the date of receipt.

If you have a complaint involving a 911 Supervisor you may contact the Cherokee County 9-1-1 Operations Deputy Director at 678-493-4074 or by email at lrmiller@cherokeega.com.
