CANTON, GA - On Tuesday, September 27th, 2022 the Rotary Club of Canton held its 6th Annual Public Safety Luncheon at the Northside Cherokee Conference Center. Our agency had two employees recognized for their hard work and dedication to both the Cherokee County E 9-1-1 employees and the Cherokee County community.
Receiving awards for Public Safety Employee of the Year were Administrative Assistant Penny Daniels and Communications Supervisor Heather Bradberry. These two wear MANY hats aside from their specific jobs and our center wouldn’t be what it is without them.
Also receiving an award for Public Safety Business Partner of the Year was Deadline Apparel which has been integral in providing our agency with numerous apparel projects over the last year as well as supporting the transformation of space in our center to a “quiet room” or “decompression room”, which is a designated space for our Communications Officers to utilize after a stressful incident or if a situation arises that it would be beneficial to them.
Congratulations to all our public safety partners who were recognized along with our own at this event.
