Christopher E. Ulm

Chief Investigator

Chris Ulm is a 1994 graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice with a focus on Community Corrections. His law enforcement career started as a Probation Officer with Georgia Probation Management in 1996 followed by employment with Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice and then joined the staff at the Cherokee County Solicitor-General’s office in April of 2005 as an Investigator.

Chris graduated from the North Georgia Police Academy in November of 2006 and then was appointed to his current position as Chief Investigator by then Solicitor-General, Jessica Moss, in October of 2012. Throughout his career, Chris has kept his focus on helping victims of crime in cases involving Domestic Violence, DUI cases, and Vehicular Homicides.

Chris has been involved with community organizations over the years such as Cherokee Youth Basketball, the Domestic Violence Task Force, and the Chamber of Commerce to name a few. Chris resides outside of Waleska in the Salacoa Valley with his wife Angie and they have three kids, Anna Catherine, Bennett, and Collin. Chris is a member of Goshen Baptist Church and for hobbies, Chris enjoys traveling, playing golf, watching basketball, and writing but most importantly spending time with family and friends.

The Cherokee County 911 Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit, tax exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is a registered Non-Profit Organization in state of Georgia. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
